Default How long for your ecu to learn?

I had 333 remap done recently, it was on 97 Esso which is my usual fuel so was best to map it on that, not the best I know, but Shell are just too far away.

Anyway, if I put in opti or tesco 99 how long should it take for the ecu to adjust itself to the new fuel anyone know? I am assuming about 2 tanks should do it Im guessing, and is there any suggestions I should be doing i.e style of driving etc or just drive as normal.

Wink

I have just had the TSL33 and had it mapped straight to Optimax.

I'm unsure how long it takes but people say about 3 tanks?? I've read though you could reset the ECU? Look at another thread on here to find out more.

I WAS enjoying my 333 until a week after the upgrade! Its having a new fuel pump refitted because the other one failed!

Apart from that, car is great. It pulls so much better than the standard STI and you certainly have a wider power band!

I'm glad I had it done!!
