I have a 1 inch very thin scrath on the car, its just broken the paint work.

How do these scratch/chip repair jobs compare to a body shop repair .

The scratch is just on the front wing , the guy reckons he will need to spray one third of the wing , i am a little worried about paint match . he will put up to 6 layers of paint on.

Any experiences ??

Cheers

personally i would go to a body shop - my girlfriend had some chips removed from the bonnet of her car and it didn't match 100%.
Unless they are well reccommended i'd get it done by the experts.
