Default prodrive,fuel pump and ebay

guys there seems to be a lot of prodrive fuel pumps coming up for sale on ebay,is there such a thing as a knock off one?
seems a bit funny people are paying a small fortune of subaru for them, just to sell them on for 50 quid and why change it in the first place

Noticed there have been a few "new, never been fitted to car" prodrive STi back boxes and standard STi back boxes aswell.

Yu only need to change your fuel pump if your modifying your vehicle and the vehicle requires extra fuel. The prodrive fuel pump is an uprated fuel pump made by Walboro.

Surely the point to this post it

Are these pumps genuine, and if not, do they deliver the same flow rate/pressure as the PPP pump.

If you got one, would it under fuel at the top end.

Anyone ?

When you can get a geniune Walbro 255 pump, new, from Mark @ Lateral for £80, why risk it to save a tenner or so?

i can see why these have been put up for sale....someone has fitted a ninja or blitz box(etc) and then had the ppp fitted as an after thought.if you have a friendly dealer they wont mind you keeping the aftermarket backbox on allowing you to put the prodrive box up for sale on ebay.

Are you for real ?
Companies don't ignore losses due to theft etc, they put their prices up to compensate.
Next time your insurance premium goes up don't complain because its ok, insurance companies are large so they can afford it, can you?

I have a Prodrive fuel pump for sale on here. I bought it on e bay in good faith for £55 6 months ago and have no reason to believe it is fake. It's still in the Prodrive packaging, has a part number on it and is brand new.
I never fitted it and decided to try and sell it for £50 ono, so someone is going to get a good deal IMHO.
