Twin headlights question re. MOT
Got followed by a Vectra today by someone who owns a Subaru too.He asked me to borrow him my standard front lights for MOT purpose. He has those silly twin headlights conversion that wouldn't let his car pass MOT.He left his phone no. and told me that he is from the kebab shop I often buy my kebabs from.He is so desperate that if i do him that favour, he would even give me a free kebab!
Now,the question is, are those silly twin headlights MOT barrier? If,yes,I shall borrow the lad my lights and grab a free kebab or two,no prob
Sorry for ignorance

I can't think of any reason why you can fail an MOT for having a twin headlight conversion. As long as the lamps aren't cracked, they are secure, have a matching pair of sidelights, headlights and main beam, then there is no reason I can think of.
Sounds like someones got an alterior motive.

if the twin headlight conversion are the morrette's then they would pass the MOT. but alot of the HALO (angel eyes) wont pass the MOT because there isnt a beam pattern to them. just a big "blob" of light. HTH
