Default WRX300 and stuff

Couple of questions....

Front lip carbon spoiler.....only seen it on an STI. Anyone seen one for a WRX?

Anybody changed their standard wheels? I like the P-WRC1, but actually quite like normal STI wheels, do these come in 18?

I assume that it is still the norm that they recommend that you have 18's after PPP? (But seen as it is standard on WRX300 sell it with 17's )

There's a lip spoiler available at ScoobyWorld (TRU V-Lip).

I know AndyF acquired a Newage WRX with a front lip carbon spoiler.

I changed the original wheels to some 18's PFF replicas. £695 from Wheelbase including Toyo T1-S tyres. Good price and service.

the sti's std are 17" the only 18 inch are aftermarket. if you buy the sti corner splitters for your wrx bumper then you can fit and sti splitter or carbon splitter etc. there are splitters for wrx but look btter with sti corner pieces. they are only 120 and available from dealer

Heres a wee pic of my WRX300 with a Prodrive front splitter (£160) and Sti 03 wheels fitted.

the 2005 STi wheels dont fit as the stud pattern is 5x114.3 rather than the standard 5x100 on all other models.

Nice, thanks for that. What spoiler is on the back, or did you get it as a freebie on a 55 reg?

Its from Subaru direct rather than Prodrive but is classed as a Subaru Prodrive part. Subaru were doing it on a special @ the turn of the year for £65 plus painting was approx £95. so £160 all in.

Regarding the rear spoiler, I supply them through a contact.

here it is from the rear

and from another angle on my mate Brians car

Mark, I had these Sti winglets on my car before I fitted the prodrive splitter. They can be purchased from any Subaru dealership (already painted to your colour code for £140 approx) they fit over the bumper rather than being an integral part. they sit into the bumper lip and are held on with a few gromits along the bottom edge and inside the lip of the wheel arch. The gromits can also be had from any Subaru dealership you will need 8 if I remember correctly to fit both corners.

Heres a pic before the change.

hope this helps? any questions just ask.

Gus

Gus, with regards to the above, did you have to cut slots in the bumper?

also have you still got them/ are they for sale ?

Nope mate. I had to cut two or three plug gromits from the inside line of the winglets and used M3 tape to stick on that side of things. Meant I could take them off again if I changed my mind (which I did ) and not leave any holes in the bumper. Worked a treat btw.

PS sorry, sold the winglets to another 300 driver
