I think the spoiler shown in the PPP info is the one mentioned below, but predictably the picture does not download from the subaru web site.....

Do you reckon this would still fit? Surely the back end is the same isnt it?

WRC Style Rear Spoiler in Primer Prodrive has developed this new spoiler for the Impreza WRX/GX, based on the design currently used by the Subaru World Rally Team, but with road use in mind. The vertical vanes are specifically designed to straighten the airflow through the spoiler and increase stability and down force at high speed. The spoiler is supplied in primer ready for painting. Note: It is recommended that the OE STI trunk torsion bars are fitted with this part, due to the increased weight of the spoiler - Subaru part no. 57529FE070 & 57529FE060 KEY FEATURES - Increased rear down force - Vertical vanes for improved high speed stability - Carbon Prodrive badge

Part No. SACC2667
£ 585.00 (inc. VAT, exc. Fitting - unless otherwise stated above)

Ohhh, hello, anyone know anything about this new spoiler shown on the WRX PPP info?
That spoiler is truly awful imho..!

The thing with all these extra wings and spoilers is extra weight..! Something a standard WRX doesn't need. (Hence part of the extra 100kgs that an STi weights in..!)

Wheel wise, again the STI 17's (even if 05> did fit, which they don't) weight a ton, much more than the WRX 17's..! (iirc WRX ~18kgs STI 28kgs+..!!!) We're talking ~40kgs of unsprung weight (that's equal to 4x sprung weight extra..!!).

I've gone for 18's on my 05 wrx but they actually don't weigh any more than the oem 17's (OZ super leggs..).

Things like the sti fog covers however are worth getting, provided you remove the fog light units. However your UK300 has these already IIRC..?

AS you probably see I'm a bit anorexic when it comes to my scoob..lol

Are you sure that weight is not in pounds? As the Enkei rims weigh in at around 20lbs, which would be around 9-10kg? 28kgs a rim sound back braking!!!

Any chance of a side on view of your WRX? All of the other pics I have seen with these wheels I have disliked, except for classics, but I rather like your pictures...

Cheers....

Wonder if I can get an A - Line spoiler....that would weigh less than the WRX one!

Had fog covers until some lttle **** nicked them last month..! Keeping eye out for another set, although they're only £78 a pair painted from dealer.
