Red Calipers, need advice...

Red Calipers, need advice...
Im in the mood for modding my Brake Calipers. On my old car I did the old red paint and a paint brush trick, I even did them whilst they were still on the car. Lol.
This time I wana do a proper job, so...
If I paint them again, I'm thinking Red with White writing...Ive got a Silver Bugeye WRX, whatya think? But how difficult is it to remove the calipers?
Or, if I wanna go all out and just buy new Red calipers (front and back), how much am I looking at and where to buy them? I see that Blob eye STI's come with Red Calipers, what are the chances of them being the same fitment to a Bugeye?
Any input is much appreciated, as usual!
Even picy's...anyone got any photo's to ogle at?

ignoring plonker comments above, see this thread..

dunno about buying them already red, but if you do them yourself, easiest(though not cheapest) is the kit from halfords.(its in the chavtastic section )
take off wheels, clean the calipers and brakes/discs with the cleaner they provide.
Let dry., mix up the caliper paint.
Paint on carefully (if not removing calipers), making sure no paint gets on discs, brake lines etc.
Let dry, repeat coat, dry.
Then the tricky part of the lettering. some people dont bother.
i did, and all you need is a thin brush, a steady hand and loads of patience.
loads of rags to wipe off the excess and mistakes
then if you want, spray over a metal sealent.(again nowwhere near the discs..better to paint on this than spray TBH)
let dry...
Put wheels back on, stand back and admire.
oh and dont drive your car for at least 2-3 hours just in case.
easy eh???

However, do you think they may still fit a bugeye, anyone know if Subaru changed the design of the braking system / calipers on the Blobs?

Never taken the calipers off the Scoob, but changed the front brake pads on the missus New Beetle today, as the dealer was taking the p1ss, and it's easy. Just 2 pins and off it comes. Pretty sure most cars are just as easy.
Wasn't sure what I was doing so 1st side took 20mins, 2nd side about 10. This is caliper in hand - to remove completely just need to take off the brake line. Makes it a bit more complicated to put back on as they will need bleeding.
As for the Scoob I have a JDM that had 2 Pots - bought some 4 pots secondhand - sent them off for refurbish/paint and they came back like new (from Godspeed). Got them fitted on my next service along with new discs and pads. BTW I had mine red - bought some white enable paint and applied a very small amount to a cloth and very gently dabbed at the raised writing. Quick and looked great with no runs
