Much prefer the Old school 6.75 V8 Contential T
Much more soul, far more class. And 600lbft of torque
And lets see who wins in a 50mph to 150mph dash

When I'm old and grey and start smoking pipes and finding the smell of urine comforting I'll choose the Bentley... until then and while I still have lead in my pencil and petrol running thru my veins its gonna be a Scooby every single flat four time!!!!!

Bentley for me too, only I'd have the new "Diamond" series one with the Ceramic discs.
The largest disc on any production car ...... EVER. Profound use gets them glowing red How cool would that be at night

I once upset a Bently Continental GT driver because he could not out accelerate me (on a dragstrip of course ). Mind you I'd have been upset if I had been in his shoes and had spent £110k on a car and couldn't beat an old Scooby
I was in my P1 then (300/300) and so would have beaten him in my current car (365/375) STI RA

These new Bentleys just don't get you in the old boys clubs you know, we can't allow any riff-raff with a bit of cash to waltz around you know.

Big fat and vulgar are the only words to describe them.
Sorry but I just hate cars like these, big slippers for people with more money than sense!!!. Why do people buy cars like this? Its certainly not for the looks, razor sharp responses or its stunning ground covering ability is it!!! Wouldn't have anything to do with the badge and the price!!!!
I don't think an STI with PPP would have any trouble with one of these.
Rant over

You haven't done a 6 car+ caravan overtake in one have you??
Be it the old proper conty "T" or the current cheapskate rebadged 2 door Pheaton "GT". The way either car pulls in-gear from 50mph to 150mph is astonishing. Especially considering you have well over 2tons of metal. The old continental was more impressive as they only needed 3 gears to do it in
Mind, given the size of the Turbos used on the old "T" and "R" models, its hardly surprising, as they make a scoob's TD05 turbo look like a compact hairdrier.
