Thats one way of putting it, and got to agree that big american V8 echoing around the cinema in full dolby fancy wotsit surround logic sound did make a few hairs stand up, even made the GF horny ! the evo sounded nice when bouncing of the rev limiter too

You obviously don't get the idea of the films, yes i know the scripts are poor, yes the acting is sometimes poor and yes thanks to computer graphics the cars do things that mere mortals can't do but i still love the films. Its all about engrosing yourself in the fantasy of the street racing scene. You're the your the normal everyday guy/girl that no one pays attention to untill you get in you're car. Then you become the street racing legend/persona in the best car out there ect ect.

Saw it Monday and loved it.

Sure like the first and second, theres no storyline, at least in Tokyo Drift we did'nt have to hide our laughter at Vin Deisels acting ability, well not till the end anyways.

The soundtrack was awesome too.

The cinema had it pumped right up and it sounded awesome

I liked the film and the cars were awesome but I jst couldn't get my head around the "cowboy" who looked at least 30 but was playing a character in school uniform!

The drifting was just class! Made me laugh as when we came out of the cinema the police has coned off the road outside - reckon they were worried that 50 Novas were gonna try recreating what they'd seen

Its spam m8, they have ripped everyone off and now need to advertise on a forum. I watched the film this morning, pretty good copy but have to say it was pretty poor. I swear i've seen the bloke (main character) in another film when he was a kid.

Oh dear,

I watched part of the first one until my brain started hurting, havent seen any of the others?

Those films have got A LOT to answer for, they are responsible for the sudden influx in really wankilly modified cars and little peenarses driving around in mum's souped up Civic.

There must have been a fast and furious meet on the opening night at plymouths vue cinema, Witnessed about 30 **** cars turn up with oversized spoilers glued to their roofs and happy hardcore blasting out the tinny little subs.

Fast and the Furious is the Cinema equivelent of the "Chav's in an RS chasing a scoob" video posted in here a few weeks ago. Those who say it represents the street racing community then i'm glad i avoid "meets". Anyone on here ever raced someone then demand their car as payment for winning ?

You'd be surprised, last summer few of the lads (Saxo/corsa Kids really and one STi) kept telling me about a meet in warrington on Monday nights. So Summer last year went along, i was amazed how many 'posh adult cars' attended. There was even some bloke must be in his mid 30's with his TVR. Oh and a very very nice Martini replica Intergrale. So anyway just after 10pm we all left the retail park and went to an industrial estate somewhere in warrington and then it started, illegal street racing, most raced for fun or as they called it 'Kudos' !! one or two for a few quid. Oh and yes the TVR raced to against a 450bhp very mint saphire cossie. Then a Volvo T5 with blue light arrived and everyone scattered. No i didn't race as it looked darn right dangerous as the spectators were stood in the middle of the run and got out of the way just in time and i have never been again. Yet hmm now lets see, Nos i need Nos!!!!

Saw it last night - got to say I thought it was really quite good - on a totally different level to the last two - unlike them this IS actually a movie about driving and not a pimped up cops n robbers movie with 'some driving' in it....

That said, nothing beats Initial D 'live action' movie - If that movie doesn't make you want to get up at 3:00a.m and drift down mountains then sell your scooby right now, buy a nice gunmetal grey Audi TDi Estate, go to B&Q buy some new patio lawn furniture and stop messing about on the roads - there is gardening to be done!!!!....
