Talking 285 miles a tank after full service! :)

Did a full service last weekend. Everything changed, used Silkolene oils in engine, box and diffs, Denso plugs, filters etc etc..

Had a bit of a motorway run with the AC on and some mixed "A & B" road driving.. Never seen more than 220miles before..

Not sure whats made the difference, but a huge thanks to the guys at Opie oils and my mate...Any boy does she rev again!

What spec's your car?
Picked up my 04 wrx on Friday, already done 280 in it and there's still no light on. That's with air-con on most of the time and quite a few spirited runs.

38mpg once was a very boring long run. 424 miles without the light coming on.

It's a newage WRX with the usual tweaks. Was averaging 50-65 mph, taking it as easy as possible. Could have easily gone well past 450 miles.

Sounds like these Scubes are quite economical

I average 170 to 190 out of 12-13 gallons. Sometimes dropping down to 130miles

I did manage 225 once on the motorway

Wodjno, sayes your car is a "Mitzy Legnum VR4".... WHF is one of those?
Must be really bad consumption if you think Scoob's are economical..

Thinking you might have somthing wrong..... I think concorde had better economy....

Best I've managed is 301 miles out of a tank. Worked out to 29mpg.
Usually get 220-250.

One thing that really put me off buying a Scooby was all this talk of low MPG, on my first fill up I got 300 miles out of a tank full, averaging about 29mpg. We were expecting a lot lower than this!
