Don't touch it mate, not with that mileage.

I just bought an MY95 Jap Import with 44k on the clock for £4500.

And you honestly believe a 11 year old car has 44k on it?

good point mate. mines a 11 year old with 74/74000 on it... thats more feasable...

113000 miles isnt a massive amount for a 9 year old car. arent scoob engines good for 200000 miles? probably better ones about but test drive it and see. get a mechanic over it....

If it's been looked after 113k isn't any mileage at all. My Subaru has 102k on it and it hasn't burnt any oil since I've had it and it is modified. A front mount intercooler should help reliability too for high speed etc.

I was the second owner of that car it has been very well looked after and i think is farely priced it has always been maintained regardless of cost to be honest it has has been modified as far as it can be without spoiling it call him he can give you all the info you need, the uk spec engine is fine and standard bar that fmic it was dyno'd at 242bhp 2 years ago and has done a 13.6 quarter mile on its original tdo4 (never been off standard boost solenoid)
and was always oiled with silcoline pro s and only 97ron fuel sorry im rambling now if you are new to scoobys the regulars on here will know or do a search

[QUOTE=scooby dancer]been maintained regardless of costQUOTE]

And thats why it has no dealer or specialist service history since 86k?

I appreciate the "serviced it myself line" but I'd personally only look at buying a car with a fully documented service history. Afterall there's plenty of these about at this age and price to choose from.
