My99 uk turbo has started playing up. After cutting out on me three times in twenty meters then firing up but just dying for an hour i eventually got it started and drove it the ten miles home with no splutters hiccups etc at all i thought i had just flooded it but jumped in it on sat and it just fired up and dies instantly again.Any ideas? been told it may be maf but ive been reading other maf problems and they dont sound like this. thanks Chris

 

have you unpluged the maf with the engine running?

 

engine wont run just fires up and dies. did an ecu check but came back claer so unplugged the maf and still no faults to report.

 

checked the fuel pump?

 

immobiliser (in the key) ?

Try swapping keys

 

checked fuel pump but not key. would have thought it wouldnt start at all if it was immob?

 

fitted a blitz d/v 2 weeks ago could this affect it?
