im also looking at fitting an sti intercooler, is this wise?

thinking of remapping, whats the best option

what induction kit do u think i should get?

anything else that would be good?

all advice would be welcome, wamting to keep it completly standard on outside but make it a beast on the inside i like sleepers

I've just been through a similar process to what you are looking to do. My mods are:-

STI Intercooler
APS Intercooler Splitter
Green Cotton Panel Filter
H & S Up Pipe
Magnex Unequal Headers
TSL Thundercat Downpipe
TSL Centre Section
H & S Jap Style Back Box
Walbro Fuel Pump
FSE Fuel Regulator
TD04 Hybrid (Turbo Andy F)
Remap (Andy F)
Front and Rear Whiteline Anti-Roll Bars
Front and Rear Whiteline Drop Links
Uprated brake pads all round and braided lines.
Prodrive Springs

The STI intercooler is a good safety measure. Andy Forrest has an excellent reputation for mapping and I'm very happy with his work. I was told its better to avoid induction kits.
These mods transformed my 2002 WRX and give an estimated 300-330 bhp. Hope this is some help.

Yes I went to AWD Motorsport in Perth. I sourced some of the items myself, got some from them and they fitted everything. Andy Forrest does mapping sessions for them a couple of days a month. AWD booked me in so that all the work including the map could be done at the same time.

Most of the stuff is bolt on, so if you have the time and the energy you could do it yourself, then get it mapped.
