Default Newbie Sti advice please

Hi guys,

have been out for a test drive in an 02 Sti with PPP, with 50,000 miles and a dump valve, was looking for a bit of guidance on anything i should be looking for, or potential problems, as I believe the DV will over time affect the cat, and Im not sure how long its been fitted.

This is my first foray in Subaru ownership so any help/advice would be greatfully appreciated.

thanks in advance

Nige,

ps: great looking site!!

I'd get the dump (chav) valve taken off as heard these can cause no end of problems. I bought my 1st scoob last August and it's been the best car I've ever owned. It's not a newage STi like you're looking to get but a 2000 Turbo 2000 Uk classic, about 200kg lighter than a newage scoob and plenty of fun
