In last months (I think) there was an impreza that ran a 3.8 0-60. Does anyone know what power this car is running? And has anyone seen any faster? Probably less power than these cosworth boys keep banging on about

Yeah that's the one. Can't believe how fast cars can get to 60 these days? Can you hit that speed in 2nd? or would that require 3rd? I don't own an impreza unfortunatley so I don't know, I have an integrale with a blown up engine! (damn cambelts!!!!)

The euro spec tranny hits 100 kph (62 mph) just a smidge before 7000 rpm...I believe some of the STi:s can do 60 on 2:nd gear.

thats well impressive though. Is traction a problem on these cars off the line? seen Martin Hadlands 540 bhp escort cossie get lanched at 7000 rpm (loon!!!) and it just spun all 4 tyres like a loon and shot off to a 0-60 of just under 4 seconds.
