hi al l can anyone tell me how to find out what the final drive of my rear diff is

Most final drive ratios are well-known; telling us the exact model will be a start of course...

it's a wrx classic auto thing is changed the box and it wound up so changed the diff for the one that came with new box allegedly it locked up also so tried another diff from an ra and it locked up too so either i'm bloody unlucky with diffs or this new box is knackered also what do you's think

had a look at the link there and was wondering how do you tell which diff is fitted to your car if say its been changed before you bought the car which mine all has been is there a way of checking that mine is say a, a? b? or what ever, is it marked in some way? if so what should i look for and where
