carbon prop
Just had the above fitted to my evo 8, just wondered if people on here are having them fiited to there scoobys. The way it revs up and gets to the redline is very impressive, the car does infact feel different like more feel like being on water, more fun, but still very controllable

they are not cheap around £1450 all in. I paid a little less second hand, they are lighter, spin instantly, i believe for the scoobys there only around £900. I chose that route as i had done all mods, and would need to uprate the bottom end to run 2 bar of boost next and i didn't want to spend that much

Not a common mod on the scoobs.
Id have thought it isnt really worth it unless you already lightened everything else first?

can only tell you what it does on the evos, was the cheapest option as next would have been £4500 on the bottom end to run 2 bar of boost so not bad then, you can tell, did a before quarter and will do an after soon

Got one on my Caterham.
For that application it's only about 18 inches long though so weight saving much less (but cost only marginally less). Rotational inertia reduction is much less of an impact than on say a clutch or flywheel as the diameter of the original is small anyway.
So performance wise it's got to be small benefit but for bling factor it's the dogs. Now where's that sheet of perspex to fabricate a new transmission tunnel from?
