Default How far do you drive to work (in Scooby)

Possible round trip for a new job of 100 miles a day, was looking at maybe buying a diesel and making the Scooby my weekend car, just interest in how far you lot travel and how much you spend on fuel to do it ?

7 miles a day (should use a pushbike as I'd get there quicker, I work 1/4 mile from J30 M25, and when the bridge is stuffed, it can take 3/4 hour to travel the 3 1/2 miles to work )

68 round trip daily, spend probably about 80 quid a week on fuel. (this includes a 20 mile round trip to my dads once or twice a week as well as general tootling around)

12 mile round trip, 30, 40 and 50 zones.

Followed a nice blue wagon this morning all stickered up.

Yesterday morning had a silver saxo screeming its nads of trying to race.

Q. why do they bother trying?

A.?????????

I do between 300 and 500 miles a Week for work, all in the scoob
On an average year I drive about 30,000 to 35,000 miles.
Love every minute of driving the scoob.

Mine would be 98 miles round trip. So bought a vRS diesel. Still keep a bit of poke, average around 50mpg and the money saved on the optimax pays for the loan.

Zero miles--let the train take the strain!! Works out cheaper than paying the petrol and parking charges. (MY99 Classic, now only in use, evenings and weekend).
