Default Brakes On A Classic

Can you tech guys please confirm the following.

twin pot Subaru Impreza brakes have no name on the calipers.

4 Pot brakes have Subara on the calipers.

I have no idea how to tell the difference between twin, 4 or six pots, any help would be great

This is a picture of 4pot calipers, they have subaru written on them, if you look behind the writing there is 2 round parts on the caliper they are pots, there is 2 on either side of the caliper making them 4pots, on a 2pot caliper you will only see 1pot either side

You can't call two pot brakes on a classic brakes, they just brush against the disc.

Having 330's & AP 6-pots fitted to my RA as we speak....

ahhhh that's better

If you look at the calipper you can instantly see how many cylinders (pots) it has. And as the two pot callipers arent static you can see the straight through to the pads from the wheel side..

And as you can see from the photo posted above the four pots have two pairs of cylinders, one on either side, the calippers are also static due to this.
