A/C service, is it A/CON?
#1
Letter this morning from I/M, Cool Air suggesting that I pay £99 for the annual A/C service (first year) to get extended warrenty, free repair for 12 months etc...
Question, is this like Dixons/Curries trying to sell you an extended warrently on a fridge or is it worth the money? I'm obviuosly not skimping on the other services but wonder if this is just profiteering.
They make all sorts of dark threats about the 'vunerable condensors'
All feedback welcome
Thanks

I had the same letter yesterday... Speaking to one of their engineers about this issue a few weeks ago, he suggested if you want to keep the car for many years, then its worth getting the yearly service done. If you are going to sell sooner rather than later, then don't worry. Personally I'm not worrying even though I might keep my scoob for a few years yet.
