Default Import or not??

Hoping for some help!

I am looking at the moment for a 04-05 STI - now i have noticed there are a fair few imports around (EU)

A few questions:

Are they that much harder to sell on?

If they are registered with subaru am i correct in asuming they would have 3 yrs warranty?

and difference between type uk and an eu?

Really not sure what to do - i would expect to pay less for an import??

i am sure there is going to be a mixed reply from both uk owners and eu owners but an unbiast view would be greatly appreciated.

any other views or tips on this?

Thanks

Pete

Wink

If you want an import. Buy a JDM one.

Pete

You need to do a search on this mate its been discussed many many times.

My view is go for the EU import. Cheap to buy and easy to sell

No, try privilege or A plan as long as you have a cat 1 alarm locking wheel nuts . You will also be expected to have a tracker if you are looking for a decent quote.

There was not much difference between UK/EU and JDM insurance, My L&V went up by £50

But agree a EU models are much cheaper (be wary of Cyprus, Non EU ones)

IMHO
