Default Dump valve problem?

Fitted a dump valve to my 03 sti PPP today, and it really sounds cool!, It scares women and children at traffic lights FFS!, however i now have a slight hesitation when pulling away, do i need bigger injectors,or will a bigger turbo sort out my problem?

Refitting the OE recirc DV will sort it out.

Of course you have a slight hesitation when pulling away, you are venting all the air that your turbo has carefully compressed for you.

As you'll soon need a new turbo anyhow you might as well look at the options.

I should go to 225/45/18 instead of 225/40/18 to help the turbo spool up? Sounds on the money to me, Anyway he's a qualified machanic! lol

sorry my mistake

you really need larger than 18" though

oh, you really need to fit a knocklink aswell.

and some gold wheels.

could do with an oil change at the same time, don't forget to disconnect the crank sensor!

Try folding the passenger seats flat as well, great idea and not only does it reduce weight but it reduces the forces on the turbo.
