I've got an 'Addzest' standard Jap stereo unit in my MY99 WRX (non-STI). I've just replaced the original 40W boot speakers with 2-way 120W Panasonics and it's made very little difference. Has anyone else replaced this head unit and noticed a marked improvement or is there another reason why is doesn't sound any good?

I had one of those beaut's in my 95 STI when I got it, I stuck in a Sony and there was a VAST improvment, I think the power they put out is very low,
