Default Importing from Australia

First Hi I am new to the forum

We are returning to the UK from Australia and will be bringing our Liberty Wagon (Liberty estate) 2.0i with us. It is a year old. We need help in finding out if the model is Type Approved for the UK. Anyone know where we can find this out?

We know we need to get it changed from kph to mph and a rear fog light fitted. Can anyone recommend anywhere near to York where we could get this work done?

There is a little bit of work involved getting the car on the road in the UK but we feel it is worth bringing the car with us as we will loose too much money in Oz selling it.

Thanks

Jo

The second hand car market is alot stronger in Au than in the UK, so I would suggest selling before coming over.
The Liberty is known as the Legacy here and although a good car it is the fastest depreciating Subaru model for some reason.
Litchfield Imports will be able to answer your questions/help out.
Also when I was looking into shipping our Forester STI to AU it was going to cost around $16,000 AU !!!!!!!!!!!!!
