Arrow News Just In! Hesitation issues!

Right, just thought i'd let all the people with hesitation issues that I've had my new lambda sensor fitted and my car runs totally different!

No hesitation when cold, no dipping idle revs and it drives soo much smoother!

I had a cheep lambda fitted £35, Xtreme Scoobies said it wont last a week but then im not paying £266 for a subaru one just yet.

Just thought i'd let you know.

Did they say why?

It's a pretty simple job that the sensor has to do .... just wondering what Technical reason why they think it should fail?

Had a faulty lambda on mine too, replacing it cured the same symptoms you mention although I still have hesitation issues that are proving a bugger to diagnose!

I was also told cheap sensors could fail easily and also give false readings which can cause problems, but you don't need a Subaru one at that price! Just a decent generic one (Bosch I think) which will set you back around £60 is fine
