Hi all
I have had my new Scoob for about 8 months now and have not had a problem, more to the point I have been driving for 15 years and have never had to claim on any insurance whatsoever.
Yesterday my car was parked outside work and a bloke cut the n/s rear corner off with his VW campervan. I got all his details and rang the insurance in the afternoon, sorted all bar the shouting.
Would you beleive that I was sat in a mates house last night, when the doorbell rang and I young lady asked if he had a visitor as she had just driven into his (ie, my) car.
What I exclaimed, not twice in on day!
The upshot of all this is that my nice shiney car now looks a bit battle scared.
It will need n/s rear quarter knocking out, new light cluster, bumper resraying, and a new drivers door complete.
Like I said 'just how unlucky can one guy be'?
If anyone knows of a good, trustworthy bodyshop in the Poole/Bournemouth area I would like to know, cos now I've got to do all the donkey work getting quotes etc.

Bad luck, mate. At least you know who did it and although they were damn clumsy (bet they'd get the classic deadpan "where did you learn to drive" if they played Colin McCrae Rally!) they were honest with it.

Ron,
on the bodyshop front, at the risk of getting yelled at, try contacting Mark Cooke (aka Trollman on the RSOC board), he's the Dorset RSOC group chairman, I think he's in Poole/Bournemouth area and I'm sure he'll help you out if he can. e-mail troll@troll.org.uk
hope this helps, and I hope you get it fixed up OK.
Cheers
