First few days with STi RA
Brief report on first few days of ownership:
BAD POINTS:
Overfilled power steering reservoir (oil on manifold).
CEL (damnation).
Not boosting properly.
2 pot calipers.
Dump valve.
2001 WRX 17" alloys.
Some of the interior trim (vents + gear lever trim) have been painted brigh blue and will have to be replaced.
GOOD POINTS:
Faclifted bonnet/vents/crystal head and side lights.
Very clean interior - STi seats are in fantastic condition.
No stickers.
No window tints.
STi rear lights.
Decatted.
Induction kit.
No stereo.
Alarm.
Paintwork in excellent condition.
GREAT POINTS:
Taking to Scoobyclinic on Saturday for remap + service.
4 pot Subaru calipers in boot ready for fitting.
Lightweight 17" alloys purchased.

Nice one Richard. I love mone, but I think you'll be adding a few to the bad points soon to include - noisy, uncomfortable, tiring, etc 
But then on the Great Points you will be sure to include - fantastic drive, puts a smile on your face every time you get to drive (unless commuting).

Hi Terry - yep, once the car is running properly it will be a great toy!
I owned a very similar car in 2004, but unfortunately has to sell (cash flow).
This STi RA is much cleaner, and once Scoobyclinic have had it for a few days, I am sure it will "reward" me
Plan to compete at Loton Park in August.
