Is extended warranty worth it?

imo it depends on the following
1. what model car (p1)? ...worth the payment
2. how hard you drive the car...if hard- worth it
3. what mileage is on it...if you do alot of miles- worth it
4. how fat is your wallet...if its as thin as mine-well worth it
i have found my last scoob (bugeye) totally reliable and didnt bother renewing the warranty and doubt i will be renewing the warranty on my 53 car when the warrant expires. i dont push my cars hard and treat it like a baby. personally i think its down to the owner and the past history, this will determine wether warranty is required.
