Any know of a company where i can get a japanesse size reg plate made up ?
I am after just a rear plate to fit in a luv-ver-ly carbon fibre surround i have obtained from japan

Obviously,the plate need to show my UK reg number

totally agree, they do all sizes including the rover and jag style ones.

Alternatively; get a legal import plate made using the correct motorcyle sized characters but in a large number plate. You can then cut down the excess area until the plate fits in the new carrier. This is quite acceptable/legal so long as you adhere to the stipulated spacing and borders (the actualy plate size isnt set).

is it something like 79 mm legal letter and number size ?
My brother mentioned doing something similar as in what caravan owners knock up

Explained here Mark... As long as you use a legal font and character spacing and retain the stipulated border the plate can be trimmed down to size.
