Default Has anybody got these???

I'm thinking of getting some of these but my neighbour reckons that the threads will strip, due to them being aluminium.

Anybody know any different??

What are you thinking of putting them on? Not a Subaru, surely?

Hardened alluminium is bloody hard, probably more chance of them shattering.

They're pretty much identical to the ones available from Scott Lowe, look in group buys...!!!

as with all scotts stuff,they are top notch quality,and i have not had any probs with the thread's or bolt's themselves

I've got these on my Wagon with my Ultralite alloys-nice and light, with no probs at all .
