Was at Prodrive at the weekend for the RB relay
Whilst having a good nose around the workshop at the cars being preped for the italian rally, I kinda took a fancy to the sunstrips they have.
Also just had a new windscreen fitted today, so my tinted sunstrip i had has gone so.....

I thought it would great to have a replica one done.

Dies anyone either have any good close up shots, si can get one made up, or even better, know of where I can pick up one already made.

If what you want is a deep sun strip, I used a 'limo black' sheet of window film, cut to about 350mm deep, and fixed to the inside of the screen.
On the outside I fixed a regular jet black solid screen strip to give a solid black top and a deep tint base.
Works really well.

Is there a law as to the thickness of the strip......I think there is isn't there?

Not to be more than 10mm into the swept area of the wiper. It used to be 40mm, I'm not sure which is the one that would count here.
