Which is the vin number top or bottom

E-GC8 GC8-016246

GC8B47D

Can anyone identify this car from these details?

its not 17 digits if its a import from the looks of it its teh first one u posted tho if no1 replys by time i get 2 work ill look on mine and see if i can tell

As stated a VIN number always has 17 digits. That is a JDM chassis number. GC8B47D is the Applied Model Number; the car is a B-Series (1994MY) WRX Type-RA and its chassis number is: GC8-016246. Its probably white although it could be red.

Thanks guys the car is a 1994 wrx type ra in white.Just wanted check as my logbook calls it a terzo which i know were only made from 97 on in mica blue.
