Default Pros and cons of wheel spacers?

Well, my car is STI MY06, and after I fitting Prodrive springs I think that my wheels are too much inside the car (especialy rears) so I think about wheel spacers. What do you think about it please?

Thumbs down

No pros - as spacers will eventually damage your wheel bearings and make handling worse by changing the recommended offset.

Cons - as above

Get your geometry checked instead

Of course, your wheel position is no different but, as the car is slightly lower, they appear a bit tucked in. If you use spacers, consider: possibility of tyre rub on wheelarch when suspension is compressed. Adequate thread remains on the studs (unless you fit extended studs) Difference in offset may cause extra loading on the wheel bearings.

Well, I thought about 8mm, not more. I know about wheel bearings etc., but handling is what I'm consider of.

You're probably running more negative camber now it's lowered, which is why the tops of the wheels/tyres will seem to be in the wheel arch more.
