Hi all,
just got my first Impreza, a '99 turbo 2000.
Sorry if this question has been asked loads of times but here goes,
I was just wandering if anyone could recommend a back box with an oval tail pipe, don't care much about the noise from the outside, but I'd rather not have my ears bleeding when driving the car.
Been driving it for a week now, and can't get the smile off my face. Cheers.

Buy a Magnex 6x4 Oval backbox, I had one on my bugeye and it's a superb backbox. Really good build quality and gave a nice deep "dugga dugga" burble.

I only swapped it because I fancied a TSL Tiphoon, which turned out to be too loud so I've gone for a H&S 3 1/2".

 

thanks for that, been thinking of a Magnex one, but my mate complained about the noise inside his Williams Clio with a Magnex on it, I thought it was ok.

 

Top backbox IMO.

 

I have a Magnex back box, and centre pipe with resonator.

Its fine even on a long motorway run - not too noisy at all, and I also have a decat dp too.
