You've got quite a good price there, but have you tried A-Plan, Greenlight and Keith Michaels (ask for Gary Moulson) ?

I haven't read the whole thread yet but it seems the point was to insight unnecessary bad-feeling. Not only that, you appear proud of the achievement. I'd liked to have had my say before it got locked.

Bad feeling is par for the course on that site. TBH I did want to wind a few people up as I am sick of their posturing. I have been a member on there for quite a few years, but am tired of their all talk no action stance and their general unhelpfulness (bad word ) I've asked for help in the past and had the old "Use search, thread locked", I've tried to arrange meets with no repsonse, I've invited them to meets and other events with no response, and been the brunt of their "No Rice" sarcasm many times. They are short sighted delusional twerps who spend their days either fixing a (great) badly built car or glamourising it over all others. Their mods are up their own ***** too, prefering to lock threads or edit peoples posts rather than have freedom of speach, unless praising their beloved German breakdowns waiting to happen. I am not usually given to trolling, but on this occasion the mood took me, and I right enjoyed it. Feel free to have a pop if you like. I have very broad shoulders and an incisive wit

If it's a p1ssing contest you're searching for then I'm afraid I'm unable to help.

I agree that the mods are quicker to lock threads than I'd like personally but, in general, the Corrado forum is an ok place to spend company time. I'm a bike fan ultimately and only drive a car through necessity. The Corrado just happens to be the classiest piece-of-****e I could find on the £500 used-car market; I wouldn't claim there's anything remarkable about either the car nor my own driving ability in it. I would, however, say I love the fact that it's a bit different and costs bugger all to run. In fact, I've spent less on my own Corrado in two and a half years of ownership, including MOTs, than my sister spent on one dealer service of her RB5.

It's a shame you've had such a bad experience with your own Corrado that may have tarnished your overall opinion of the model, and maybe even the marque. I really see little point in telling a bunch of Corrado enthusiasts that the cars they hold in high regard are old hat and a waste of good driving time. If all enthusiasts shared that opinion there'd be a lot more scrap metal out there than the world could cope with!

Your Corrado forum posts would suggest that you'll be more likely to achieve inner peace if you shift that chip you burden your shoulder with

Good luck with your MX-5. I don't share the view that it's a 'girl's car' and, in my opinion, neither should any of the haters in *that* thread who call themselves car enthusiasts. The reviews speak for themselves.

Rob at last you have managed to post (top Bloke) and a nice motor, that's a great price for your fourth coming scoob!!
If your not 25 then i wouldn't bother with Gary Moulson that's to everyone not just my mate rob.
I am with Keith Michaels and i pay £650 with all mods declared, A-Plan said i had to many mods, so shop around fellas some one will take your money off of you.
Good luck finding your scoob rob, I'm sure the guy's and girls on here will help you find a peach for you.

If you were getting quoted for as little as that at your age take it.

I was 21 when i got my sexy subaru impreza STI (blobeye shape after bug eye) and my insurance is over double what you quoted. I thought that was good.
