after having a fab day at the NEC Preview day, the nu Scooby Poo is growing on me
BUT!!!!

Do you have the Nu Scooby with Boring seats (with side air-bags)that look 'pre' MY97 (uk cars)or go for the Bucket seats (without side air-bags) that still look like 'post' MY97 seat?????????

glad i'm not getting one as the decision would be toooooo great 4 me!!!! LOL

From what I understand the first batch of cars that have been built for the UK all have the non bucket seats except the 5 door. When the new batch come through in April/May you can at no cost choose bucket seats.

I have to say siting in one yesterday although they felt alright it just didnt feel like a Scooby with those seats. I tried to ask my dealer how much new seats would cost for a MY00 to see roughly how much it would cost to change them out. Couldnt get an answer. Plus they werent sure you could do it as they had side airbag wiring.

The other option would be to fit Recaros when Mr Woods sorts them out.

So will the first cars in the country be unloved in a year or two when there are bucket seat cars around ?

Does anyone know if it still the case that the Sports Buckets seats will only be available from next year. Why I ask this it does not make this clear even on the Subaru UK site (when you can get in).

Thinking about jumping ships from a Toyota to Subaru, I have been hiding and reading all the post since August, Thought it was time to speak my mind :-).

all the girl 'Gemma'(nice smile!!!) said is that the seats are an OPTION!!! and that if yo want them you can have which ones you want, and the dealer could fit them/remove air-bags there, i can't rememder if she said they would be an extra charge for the Buckets,
i'm sure there one or the other!!!!
