bmw miles??
my mates after an 1999 318i with 50k on the clock, car looks mint. But the guys got no service history, so whats the chance the millege has been altered? isn it electronic? or are there ways around it? or just not worth the risk

oil changes etc and the engines are pretty bomb proof.
The clocks are analouge but the service interval indicator
is digital.
If it's tidy and goes in a straint line then it should be OK.
Oh, and this is in the wrong section !!!

They can be clocked.
My mate bought a 528 with 93k on the clock, part service history, and when he found out where the last service was done, it transpired to have been serviced at 130k, six years previous!!
Tell him either to walk away or find out what the last service was.
