Thumbs up Over the moon with new Legacy !

Took delivery of a 2004 2.5i saloon on Saturday

Owned an MY99 Impreza turbo for 2 ½ years and although the Legacy is obviously a very different motor it is comparable in grip (obviously not acceleration wise) and I’m loving the looks, the colour (Atlantic Blue) and the smoothness/comfort.

Not loving the ‘old man jokes’

Still to see another one on the roads (been looking for the last 3 weeks and still ain’t seen one)

PS 34.8 mpg combined at the moment

I saw two new shape leggys today around Brighton and Hove, a guy I see most days has a silver tourer with GTA number plate, and I saw a Spec B yesterday in Somerset.

I think they are becoming more popular these days.

Enjoy.

Was waiting on that one

I hate to say it, but I prefer it to the Impreza

....and that's taking the headaches caused by the blown engine and gearbox etc etc out of the equation. It's just such a better car

Agree, I don't miss my STi at all, although I wish there was a fix for the cheap plastics and terrible residuals.

Interior of mine is well above the Impreza quality .. a real step up in quality (2004 model)
