Just had boost gauge fitted.

***** about all over the place but basically peaks at 15psi and holds 13psi under hard acceleration. Shows -8 psi under no load.

This is for UK MY00.

Sound ok ???????????????????

Sounds right for a UK MY00.

Mine holds at 13-14psi, 14 being a cold day.

Negative readings at idle/low load is normal as It runs a vacuum when not boosting .

Rich.

Cool

Yeh mine reads about 13.5 psi on full chat, dropping to -20 on idle. If your gauge is wanging about all over the place you need to throttle the supply to it. I used a hozelock greenhouse watering valve, which is a small yellow valve that you can throttle.

Is there any chance of introducing an air/vacuum leak if you cut the pipe an insert a restriction ?
