Default Thanks to ScoobyMania

Bought some Defis from them a while ago and for some reason the oil temp went off the scale.

Phoned Scoobymania and sent back the guage, sensor & control unit for them to check.

A couple of days later it all came back, but with a replacement guage and all now works fine again

Many thanks for excellent service

The gauges were replaced under warranty I am assuming??

Normal business I am also assuming??

It's about time the ****-Licking of suppliers and tuners STOPPED forthwith!

The guages were originally purchased well over 12 months ago. The question of 'when were they purchased' was never asked. In fact no questions were asked.

It's not ****-licking, it's merely giving credit for good service where it's due.

Now **** off back under your stone!

Now that you have made the situation clear then excellent - I assume you bought on-line?

Therefore they will have the sales date, don't worry about that.

Still good service, but they shouldn't have gone wrong - should they? I cannot remember the last time a gauge in any of my cars failed .... over many decades.........so, maybe it should have been replaced as good practice?

Still, you could have thanked them personally ............. why post on here?

The problem with all this ****-licking is that any posts stating where bad service was served are deleted ....... when these bad service threads are the MOST useful!!

So, please, pass your thanks to the companies concerned but keep the **** licking off SN!

They weren't bought on-line and no, I'm not worrying

I did phone and thank them personally and thought there was no harm in thanking them publicly also.

I agree, notification of poor service would be very usefull, but as it's not allowed, the only way to help others is to report when a company gives good service.

It's not **** licking it's notification of good service. **** licking is what your little band of proteges perform on you

I wonder if they gave you a discount or a freebie for some free advertising? No? Thought not.

Maybe they said, "You can have a free gauge if you post up a thank-you on SN?"
