Did you take the bubble wrap off it Rob ?

Sorry you left yourself open to that

Go for a good blast warm it up and all the newness should burn out from inside, when I first had that Vortex I though I was going to have a fire the way the smoke came out at first.

fitted a full system recently to my dads terzo classic and it was quiet funny to see peoples looks as fumes were coming out of the intercooler scoop when we parked up at wickes after a blast in it !

Best way is to go for a blast get it nice and hot and it'll all burn off , dunno about how long the smell will last havent spoken to him for a while !

It really stank at first so I ripped the foil heat wrap off. But its still not rite, think it was the ninja all along tho! Or it may be the heat bandage!
Im never buying anything pollished again!! LOL.

If you think a backbox is bad , try a heatwrapped downpipe
