Default Fog on or Fog off

Why oh why why oh why do people insist on driving in citroens renaults corsa/nova etc with sidelights plus fogs on clear nights ???????
I think it's cos they hope you think for a nanosecond they might be in a scooby !

You mean the lighter ones that cost less and are cheaper to modify to bigger bhp than their over-rated bigger brother? Oh why oh why did I have to go there

Anyway. Dipped lights on for the safety of being seen more easily, fog lights off so you don't look either a) forgetful, b) careless or c) a plonker.

Nothing to do with the cars you mentioned. More to do with the ***** driving them. Usually with a fixed, serious look, 1 hand on top of the wheel and nearly lying horizontally as the seat back is so low. Have seen them in Scoobs, Audi, BMW, Citreon etc etc

Fog light Fannies as I like to call them - really p1sses me off!!

As do people who put full beam on when it's not fully dark & don't dip when coming towards you - Full Beam Fannies this time.

Then there are the 40 mph Fannies - regardless of whether they are on the open road or in a 30mph limit they drive at one constant speed of 40mph!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't know why your all getting your knickers in a twist girls about fog lights because these big headed road hogs that drive cars with HID OR xenon type lights are much worse. When they approach from the rear it's like close encounters, or some other kind of allien invasion but it turns out to be Bertie Big Head in his Merc or Bm. Or maybe some of you on here with STI's or HID conversions, are you frightened of the dark? at least you can turn fogs off.

xenon head lights are the way forward i never need to use my main beam as these do such a good job on there own

as for fog lights its my pet hate

if it aint foggy there aint no need for them

thats what i love about my mini when you turn off the head lights the fogs go off and dont come back on when you turn the lights back on you have to do it manually so no i forgot exscuse there

'There aint no need for them' thus implying there is a need. There isn't any need or there is no need is the correct terminology.

Don't these people know the 3 rules about driving? Especially #2...

When approaching others...

1)Never get them wet,

2)Keep them away from bright lights

3)and never feed them after midnight...

Otherwise you'll all turn in to this...

After Mogwai gets wet, he multiplies and has loads of 'brothers' . These manage to get hold of some food after midnight and they turn from cute things into the evil gremlins - isnt it the same for light?

More to the point, does anyone own a live Mogwai? We would like to conduct tests on him for scientific research - to clarify a technicality and make shed loads whilst we are at it..
