Hi Allan
No, it's not an easy fix. The trims on the Newages are a bit of a bugger to remove & you won't be able to put one back in without removing the screen. These trims are not that easy to put on the glass with the screen out as it's quite a hard rubber....You may also break the screen getting the old rubber out. Not impossible but I wouldn't do it...
Get the screen replaced under you ins excess, I've always replaced the rubbers on these when changing the screen so you'll get a new one to boot.

Don't tell the insurance company that you need the rubber replacing as that isn't covered. Just say the glass has broken and you'll get the rubber with the new glass. You may need to break the glass 5 minutes before the Autoglass guy arrives

Allan, they will need to, you just can't use these again, I've never done one & re-used it...It's not like a classic where it's just a top trim, as you know it goes around 3 sides. If it does come out in one piece it'll probably stretch & be too long. It can be done of course (if necessary) but for the hassle it's not worth it.
What insurance co you with? Can't speak for other windscreen co's but we always replace these & always use Subaru trims too..
