Default Chassis number? UK or JDM STI 7?

Is it possible to tell from just the chassis number?

If I remember correctly a JDM STi 7 is something like this

GDB-######

Just 6 numbers, it's a lot shorter than a UK model.

UK type is 17 digits.
The VIN you posted looks like one......could be from anywhere in Europe though.

Thanks guys.
Bought the car now, that's good enough for me. Really don't want to pay the extra insurance for a JDM model and I'll chance that it isn't a European import
