VR6 owner looking to grow up and buy Scooby !
#1
Hi there,
I'm looking to sell my VR6 Highline and get a real car, I should get around 10k for my Golf and will be looking to spend around the same.
I have a posting up on SIDC but as Skeletor said this place looks a little more lively !! Any tips on models, as i'm currently looking at STI V3's or any other tip's or details on cars for sale, get back to me and we can start there.
Cheers all, and i hope i get reply's this time around !!
Phill

Hi Phill,
Welcome to Scoobynet!
Some sites that may be of use are http://www.sidc.co.uk/faq.htm and http://www.iwoc.freeserve.co.uk
Once your questions become more specific, there is a great deal on information on this board, and the search facility will find them!
There is lots of information about the model types.
Hope this helps
Andy

Andy,
Thanks for the reply, bloody quick by SIDC standards !!
I have read the Subaru FAQ on the SIDC cover to cover, and indeed although the FAQ is highly informative and generaly **** hot, it does not give an idea's on what the vehicle's are worth.
Is 9-10k for ans STI v3 realistic ??
Cheers,
Phill

Might be a touch optimistic, but then again, there are bargains to be had.
If you can find an sti 4 you might prefer it as it had the newer style interior which in my mind is far more attractive.
Be cautious of any newly brought over from japan older cars with low milages.
When you find anything specific, come on here and ask about the specific car. It may have been owned by someone on here, btu more importantly, with such a wide variety of models, it takes people in the know to explain the differences. And there are shed loads of them!
