Default Help! STi not performing quite right! :s

Hi people,

I have recently purchased a 1993 STi import. It's rumoured to be pushing 333bhp. Was fine for the first couple of weeks but has lately not been performing half as well. I got a full Subaru check done a few weeks back and was told i needed a good service and coil packs replaced and the lack in performance could well be caused by these, or maybe just the plugs. Having since spent 900 quid on all of this, the car is still the same! There is no funny smoke coming out the back though. Sometimes the turbo pulls but most of the time it feels like it aint even kicking in at all.

Anyone got any ideas?

Many thanks in advance for your help!

Ouch!

Where are you?
I think you you take it to someone who knows about these cars, such as
API Engines
Powerstation
Scoobyclinic to name a few.

Thanks Graham,

I'm in Newcastle. You know anywhere close to me in the sunny North?

Cheers!

Aha. That's where i've just got all the work done! Spooky.
He's the one that said it's prob the sparks or coil packs.
Dunno what the hell is wrong with it tbh. Hope it's nothing
too serious though.

What's the usual signs of turbo's going?

Sorry, this is my first Scooby as you may tell!

Cheers Graham
