Default would my classic sti benefit from a re map

i have got a my95 sti 555 only mods are stainless back box, k/n panel filter and de cat up pipe( i have been told all early sti never had cats in up pipe????). I run it on optimax and octane booster. when i bought it it had a rr print out showing 293 bhp( without back box) from prosport. what would i get from a re map? more power?, mapped to uk fuel?more torque? better fuel economy?. i know a re map is expensive and i would want most of the above for the money . I would want it mapping for super or optimax. How much would it cost 700 quid? cheers all advice welcome

a re-map would go well with the de-cat mate, and yes you could get it mapped to uk fuel and it would definately increase the torque... all in all a re-map is highly recommended

Yep absolutely, power delivery will be tweaked giving a much better peforming car overall. Just choose your mapper wisely.
