Perhaps he's passed away - he WAS getting on a bit??

Do you think as he faded away, instead of an approaching bright white light, his vision was filled with the twinkle of a Cocklinks' yellow, green and red LEDs?

Pete has to leave for short periods to offer a sacrifice every now and then to the SN mods in exhange for eternal existence on SN. Ever wonder why some of the SN virgins just "dissappear"?!?!
