Is it true there are 2 p1's that were first imported to test them... same as p1 running wise but with 5 doors??
Or is someone trying to pull a fast 1??
Looks genuine!

oops, thats what I meant STi R (got carried away)
Still only a 2 door prodrive altered car. Somethings tickling the back of my mind that prodrive did do some prelim work on a couple of 5 doors though.

AFAIK the white P1 was the pre-production prototype. There are a few oddities knocking around that are supposed to be from the Prodrive stable.
There were pictures on here a while back of a Sonic Blue 4 door saloon with P1 parts. It was thought that it was just a normal 4 door with P1 parts bolted on however the interior was a mix of UK and import parts (climate dials etc) and the original owner on the V5 says Prodrive and the Banbury address.
Legend has it there were 2 of these 4 door "P1" mules.
Also knocking around the place is the grey STI Richard Burns (RIP) was given whilst driving for prodrive that was the idea and test mule for the RB5.
Never heard of 5 door cars.
