Default 5 door p1 ????? limited to 2 only in uk?? TRUE / FALSE??

Is it true there are 2 p1's that were first imported to test them... same as p1 running wise but with 5 doors??

Or is someone trying to pull a fast 1??

Looks genuine!

Dont think they were RA mate... I thought they were a slightly watered down STi V5 Type-R.

I thought that there were two white STi 5 Type-R's used as the testbeds for the P1 development.

oops, thats what I meant STi R (got carried away)

Still only a 2 door prodrive altered car. Somethings tickling the back of my mind that prodrive did do some prelim work on a couple of 5 doors though.

Saw this one at a meet in January

Also saw P1 PVP at Powerstation on Saturday at the Wales RR Day. It's the one from the Chris Rees Book "Subaru Impreza". I believe it may be up for sale soon at Litchfields.

AFAIK the white P1 was the pre-production prototype. There are a few oddities knocking around that are supposed to be from the Prodrive stable.

There were pictures on here a while back of a Sonic Blue 4 door saloon with P1 parts. It was thought that it was just a normal 4 door with P1 parts bolted on however the interior was a mix of UK and import parts (climate dials etc) and the original owner on the V5 says Prodrive and the Banbury address.

Legend has it there were 2 of these 4 door "P1" mules.

Also knocking around the place is the grey STI Richard Burns (RIP) was given whilst driving for prodrive that was the idea and test mule for the RB5.

Never heard of 5 door cars.

Bit of a hijack, sorry. Did you get to look closely at the P1 at Litchfields? There is one on his webby for a seemingly good price 12k do you know if they are the same?

There is also a genuine P1 in dark blue mica, the customer had it painted in that colour from new its now for sale at KT Greens in Otley. Never ever heard owt about a 5 door P1 otherwise the P1 would be a P2 wouldn't it?
