WRX 300
Was there a thread on here a while back where someone had been in contact with Subaru UK about finding out which car of the 300 that we have? I think I remember the poster saying that the lass he spoke to at Subaru was surprised that we didn't have certificates and there would be an update soon but I can't find the thread anymore! And yeah, I've tried 'search'!
Any success?
cheers

Hi Andy
Is this the one you mean?
http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/showthread.php?t=490571
There was also another thread about other special editions, where other owners of limited editions indicated that they had numbers/plaques. Just none for us WRX300 owners. I guess it's not 'limited' in the same way that they were.
Not heard any more myself and I'm sure we'll hear from Rich (NorthDownsScooby) if there is any news. I am however becoming increasingly sure that there are no numbers for us and that the WRX300 was probably just a way of shifting the old model Impreza to make room for the new MY06 shape. But good luck to Rich in his continuing relentless battle to get to the bottom of this (even if there is no number, it would still be nice to know why) but at the end of the day, I still love my WRX300, with or without a number.

That's the one!
Thanks Jo. Will love mine too, with or without a number! It's in the bodyshop at the moment after someone was kind enough to introduce a key to the front wing and a little toerag threw an egg at the door causing paint damage
Looking forward to having her back!
Cheers Jo
